We urgently need your help to provide immediate financial support for two of our Persian Brothers in Christ. Your assistance can make a real difference in their lives during this challenging time. Let’s come together and show our love and support! Recently, one of our Persian Brothers, who has been a refugee serving the Lord a long side Christ International Church Mission for over a decade, was arrested and interrogated for 12 days. During this time, he was severely beaten by interrogators, suffering life-threatening injuries. Despite the torture, he steadfastly refused to deny his Lord and Savior. To prevent an international incident, the authorities decided to deport him to a neighboring country based on the last stamp in his passport instead of returning him to his homeland. Christ International Church Mission has arranged for a friend to provide him with temporary shelter, food, and medical treatment. Although our Brother could have sought asylum in the West, he chose to remain dedicated to evangelism and spread the Good News while mentoring his fellow countrymen in this foreign and hostile environment. He is now in urgent need of financial support to help him re-establish himself in a safer country. We kindly ask for your assistance in raising $2,500 to meet this immediate need. As highlighted in our August 2024 newsletter, a former Christ International Church Mission student, who dedicated himself to church planting and evangelism, faced arrest last year. Initially sentenced to ten (10) years in prison, he was also subjected to an additional 15 years of social isolation upon his release. He endured three trials and numerous consultations with different lawyers. Thanks to the persistent efforts of Christ International Church Mission, his prison term was significantly reduced to just two years. After a traumatic year behind bars, he was released without explanation and reunited with his family. However, he now faces a critical challenge: a $2,000 fine. This financial obligation is not merely a formality; it carries severe consequences. If he is unable to pay this fine, he will be sent back to prison, causing further emotional strain on his wife and children. This situation calls for our support and compassion as we strive to keep evangelization active and this family together and free from additional trauma. We kindly ask for your assistance in raising the $2,000 needed to address this immediate need.
